What does Lumina actually do?

It schedules field work and follows it through: the office books jobs on a drag-and-drop board, technicians work their day from a phone app, and invoices are built from what was recorded on site.

Who is it for?

Trades and field service teams — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, facilities. Anywhere somebody is booked to attend an address.

Does the phone app really work with no signal?

Yes. Status changes, hours, parts, photos and signatures are written to the phone first and sent when signal returns. Each change carries the time it happened, so nothing is filed at the wrong hour.

Can customers see their own job?

Yes. Each customer gets a private link showing where their job is, with the option to ask the office to move it. They never see anyone else's work.

How long does setup take?

About ten minutes on ordinary shared hosting. Upload, create a database, run one command, and you are in.

Do I need a special server?

No. PHP 8.4 or newer and MySQL is enough. No VPS, no root access, no background daemon.

Do I have to sign up with anyone else?

No. Maps use OpenStreetMap with no API key. Texts and card payments are optional and only needed if you want them.

What happens if a payment fails?

Nothing immediately. The card is retried for two weeks and the account keeps working — an expired card is not a customer who left.

What if I cancel?

You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is cut off early.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, on every plan that offers one. No card is needed to start.

Who owns my data?

You do. It is your database on your server, and you can export or delete it whenever you like.

Can I use my own branding?

Yes. Your logo and colors apply across the dashboard, the customer portal, the emails and the phone app.

Is there an API?

Yes — a REST API with scoped keys and outgoing webhooks, so you can connect the tools you already use.
